Kollab acquires Senti AI, strengthens AI presence in PH
Digital transformation advisor Kollab kicked off 2025 by acquiring Senti AI, the country’s pioneering artificial intelligence company. This marks a new chapter in Kollab’s decade-long legacy of bringing cloud-first solutions for clients all over Southeast Asia, as the brand vows to promote AI adoption in the Philippines.
According to Kollab CCO & head of business development Jonathan Ty, Senti AI’s decade of excellence and credibility in implementing efficient AI solutions perfectly fits Kollab’s vision for the industry. Senti AI is also the first Philippine company to earn the Google Cloud Machine Learning Specialization distinction, cementing its place as an AI industry leader in Southeast Asia.
Through the acquisition, Kollab will scale up its AI deployments and implement more cost-efficient AI solutions for its clients by integrating Senti AI’s products and services under the new “AI and Data Analytics” umbrella. The new solutions suite will include AI Strategy and Foundation, Document AI & Cloud Vision, Intelligent Agents, Data Analytics & Visualization, NLP Engines, and AI & Data Governance.
“We believe that artificial intelligence plays a critical role in driving innovation, competitiveness, and market growth for organizations across the region. Our acquisition of Senti AI will enhance our ability to help customers adopt and scale AI initiatives more securely, efficiently, and responsibly,” Ty adds.
Kollab also welcomes Senti AI co-founder & CEO Ralph Vincent Regalado to its Board of Directors, where he will act as Chief Scientist & Head of AI. Regalado expressed excitement about the new development and shares, “With this acquisition, we are taking a significant step forward in spreading the word about AI and its benefits to Philippine enterprises. We look forward to working closely with Kollab and reaching out to more clients with their help.”
A move to promote AI use in PH businesses
In recent years, Kollab noticed how some Filipino companies struggle to adopt AI into their business operations. Most companies attribute this to lack of internal confidence and expertise, concerns about AI’s ethical and social implications, difficulty integrating multiple vendors and partners, and perceived difficulty in recruiting and retaining top talent.
Kollab’s acquisition of Senti AI enables the company to implement AI initiatives that can address these challenges and support local businesses as they endeavor on their digital transformation journeys. Specifically, Kollab can provide intensive AI training to boost internal expertise, along with AI and data governance solutions. These solutions are set to benefit various industries such as financial services and fintech, travel, energy, food & beverage, transportation & logistics, healthcare, education, retail, business process outsourcing, telecommunications, and manufacturing, among others.
“By focusing on education, data security and privacy, and customized AI services, we aim to become a trusted partner for Filipino businesses navigating digital transformation. By teaming up with Senti AI, we can realize this vision and help more local firms embrace AI,” Ty added.
With the acquisition of Senti AI, Kollab underscores its commitment to constantly improving its cloud-first services for clients. For more information and updates, visit https://www.kollab.com/ and follow its LinkedIn page at https://www.linkedin.com/company/kollabph/.
